090226 Found mosaic tools for $30 on Facebook Marketplace. The seller even gave me some tiles and books for free. However, my studio is also under construction so my printer is out of commission AND my place is soo cluttered with all the things that were in my studio. I feel like I can’t move forward until I have those settled, so I’m just sitting on my hands at this point. Here’s a peek of my design in the meantime:

080726 Now that our house is painted this gorgeous rich blue color, I’ve been itching to do a project that’s been on my mind lately: making out house steps a mosaic. I’ve seen stunning mosaics in Milan and Venice, and now I’m inspired to revisit this project.
Things is, I can’t make this until May/July. For the same reasons why our painter couldn’t paint our house earlier - the rain! Maybe, MAYBE I can do this in September. But until then, I’ll put together some inspiration of what I’m going for.
